Lara Vu, MPH, CLES

Lara is the Mama Founder and Chief Breast Officer of Mila's Keeper, a modern breast milk storage company. As a certified lactation educator, she is a longtime global advocate for women and children's health spanning her career from WebMD to UNICEF after getting her Masters in Public Health from Yale University. She invented the MilKeeper, a portable insulated breast milk cooler that keeps milk cold for 20 hours after discovering the lack of cold storage meant the end for thousands of working moms' breastfeeding journeys on a UNICEF project. She is a regular lecturer at the UCLA Global Health and International Development Studies department and lives with her husband, two children and dog in Los Angeles.
