Laura Holtry-Hughes

Laura taught middle and high school English for nearly a decade before earning a master's degree in museum education and becoming a mother. Life as an army brat and months backpacking across Europe after college inspired her to renew her passport and travel both domestically and internationally with her family. Laura brings a wealth of experience in formal and informal education to each family outing either at home or abroad. She enjoys visiting museums, attending cultural events, trying new restaurants, running the trails, and practicing yoga in her adopted hometown of Arlington, VA.
