The tune is inescapable and so is the pop culture influence. Baby Shark is so much more than a YouTube video. It’s a Billboard charted hit song, a line of toys, and soon it will be a Nickelodeon show, too.

The Korean company behind the viral video, SmartStudy Co.’s Pinkfong, has a deal with Nickelodeon (not via Netflix, as was previously reported).

Baby Shark is a multiplatform phenomenon, and appetite for more content and products is strong around the world,” said Pam Kaufman, President, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products in a statement announcing the deal. “Our outstanding creative teams are moving fast to get more Baby Shark product across multiple categories to retailers, and our content team is excited to develop a terrific original animated series that will bring this property to new heights and even more fans.”

It sounds like Nick is cooking up some Baby Shark magic that’s going to be irresistible to kids, and that may worry parents who are trying to cut down on screen time.

But experts suggest parents don’t need to worry about sticking to a certain time limit as much as we should take a holistic approach, considering our child’s developmental age, our family’s activities and sleep patterns. Watching a Baby Shark video isn’t inherently harmful, but watching it at the cost of everything else is when screen time becomes an issue.

We don’t yet know the air dates or episode length of the Nickelodeon project, but Nick shows are usually only about 23 minutes long, which may be helpful to parents who are trying to set screen time limits and keep their sanity.

[Update: A previous version of this story indicated Baby Shark was coming to Netflix. It has been updated with new info from Nickelodeon.]
