There are definitely certain things that we need to let go of in new parenthood. For example—late night parties that go on into the wee hours are likely gone for the next few years—or 20. (Sorry!)
But that doesn’t mean that you’re never going out for drinks with your girlfriends again. ?
What’s an expectation you can create every week to make space for yourselves as individuals and a couple? Is it getting to the gym a few times a week? Is it supporting your partner’s need to stay at work late? Is it committing to a date night—and booking the babysitter ahead of time?
