Welcome to Motherly's Photography Class, brought to you ?FREE? for the month of May from the photo pros at Chatbooks, who print your Instagram, Facebook and camera roll pics automatically for only $8/ book. ?

Editing your photos is the icing on the cake.

This is the last step in the process that adds the final touches to make your photos pop.

In this lesson, I'll be showing you different apps you can use to make your photos extra special—from very basic editing, to more detailed and advanced.

A small tip I will share with you: I take all of my photos during the day and I do all of my editing at night when my daughter's asleep. That way, I have time to really pay attention to what I'm doing, and not take time away from the time we're spending together.

Action Step:

Take some time to explore the apps we mentioned and edit your photos. Even if you didn't have time to take photos today, use one of your older photos and experiment. You'll get better and faster at editing by doing it time and time again.
