Something that is in every picture you take is a background.
In this lesson, I’ll be showing you how to think about + use the background in your photography—so we’ll have you decluttering, setting up and cropping areas to create fantastic and stunning pictures. (Psst—so much that goes into a great photo like getting the background + crop right, so don’t worry if you don’t have a “perfect” space for a pic.)
In fact, I’ll teach you how to use the simple spaces inside your home to set up and capture images of your children.
Look around your home and find the open spaces that you could use to take a picture of your child. This could be a single color wall, a textured wall, or something you could lay on the ground as a background: a comforter, throw or even a soft rug.
