Those of us who have sisters know, nobody knows us like they do. Sharing the experience of motherhood with a sister can bring siblings even closer—as seems to be the case with 20-year-old new mama Kylie Jenner and her older sister, 37-year-old mom of three, Kim Kardashian West.

Kardashian recently interviewed Jenner for the UK’s Evening Standard, asking questions she probably already knew the answers to, but offering perspective on how their famous family’s dynamic has shifted since the recent baby boom.

Kardashian’s youngest, Chicago, was born via surrogate in January and Jenner’s first, Stormi, came in February. Their sister Khloé, welcomed her first, daughter True, in March.

“I think recently you have become closer to all the sisters, especially me and Khloé, because we were all expecting at the same time,” Kim tells Kylie.

“It’s crazy how fast they grow, because Chi [pronounced ‘shy’] is just, like, two weeks older, but you can tell she’s a little bit more advanced. And then, right when Stormi hits two weeks, she’s doing the same things Chi was doing,” Jenner replies.

The youngest sister says the cousins will no doubt grow up to be BFFs, but they may not be cast mates. Jenner has not yet decided whether she will allow Stormi to appear to the family’s long-running reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“I have thought about it but I haven’t come to a conclusion yet,” she tells her sister, admitting that she sometimes daydreams about what life would be like without the show, but that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

Those benefits—fame, fortune, a cosmetics empire at 20 years old—mean Jenner’s life is very different from most young mamas’, but there’s one thing about her motherhood experience that is so relatable.

“I think about her all the time, anywhere I am. I would rather be with her or wish she can come everywhere,” she says. ” I think more about the future because of her. Every time I leave and I’m stressed about leaving her, I’m like, ‘I’m doing it for you.'”

Raised on reality television, this mama isn’t afraid of the very real side of motherhood, and says the hands-on parts of parenting aren’t so bad when you’re dealing with your own baby. “I actually enjoy changing diapers. It’s really satisfying. To make her clean again. And I don’t know, the whole thing is really… it’s like such an amazing experience,” Kylie tells Kim.

The sisters agree, and so do we: Motherhood alters everything, including how we see our own family, and even, how we see diapers.
