How would you describe your pregnant style?

A random hodgepodge. My pre-pregnancy wardrobe was very simple - all flowy black frocks. When I found out I was pregnant, I was lucky to get a bunch of hand-me-down maternity clothes from friends who recently had babies. It's been so fun wearing tight clothes and bright colors that I wouldn't usually buy myself. Like playing dress up every morning.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your pregnant body?

Shoes! At about the 5-month point, it became a challenge to bend over to deal with laces or straps. Nowadays I stick to Vans or anything that slips-on.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

How exhausted and out of breath I get climbing the subway stairs!

What’s been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?

My sister works for Citizens of Humanity so I am very loyal to the brand! They have the best maternity jeans and the comfiest boyfriend shorts -- great for this NYC summer heat!

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

Wearing him close in a baby carrier and going for a long weekend walks with my husband. He is due in September (update: he’s arrived!) and fall is my favorite season, so I'm hoping to get in as much outdoor time as possible before the winter sets in! Also very excited for his first Halloween.
