How would you describe your pregnant style?

I always try to wear things that really work for my body. As my body has changed and grown during pregnancy, it has become challenging at times. But my priorities when getting dressed in the morning remain the same: to feel good, be comfortable and have fun with my clothing choices.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your pregnant body?

Yes, a lot of maternity wear consists of oversized tunics or very basic tees, and that's just not me. I love prints and interesting textures, so I found maternity clothing very run-of-the-mill and not versatile at all. I've had to be more creative in terms of where I shop, silhouettes I choose, and styles and sizes I wear. Sometimes shopping while pregnant isn't as fun just because you can get tired and hungry more easily, and it definitely takes more time and patience.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

The people on the subway -- very rarely does anyone give up their seat for a pregnant lady!

What's been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?

I don't have a favorite brand, but I do like to wear bump-hugging maxi dresses. They are comfortable, feminine and fun!

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

Everything! I cannot wait to take him to Central Park, to the beach, and to see all of the lights during Christmas time in the city (bundled up of course).
