The show must go on!

The coronavirus pandemic has caused many ballet theaters to cancel in-person performances in 2020.

If watching dancers perform The Nutcracker is part of your family’s holiday traditions, then you’re in luck. This year, several ballets are offering virtual showings of the Christmas classic.

The New Paltz Ballet Theatre is hosting a free showing of The Nutcracker. Their video premieres on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. EST. It will be available to watch on the theater’s Youtube channel through January 1.

If you don’t want to wait until Christmas Eve, we’ve got you covered.

The New York City Ballet will stream a special performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker with Marquee TV. The event will be available from December 11th through January 3rd, 2021. Tickets are available now and begin at $25.
