Bachelor nation has been waiting for this little one’s arrival and on Wednesday Lauren and Arie Luyendyk announced they’d welcomed their baby girl into the world.

“We have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6 lbs, 13 Oz. 20cm Long,” Arie announced via Instagram Story. “Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”

A few hours later the couple shared the first photos and the name of their baby girl.

“This was first time she laid eyes on me and I’m forever changed ❤️ Alessi Ren Luyendyk,” Arie captioned a photo of his and Lauren’s newborn daughter.

His wife made a similar announcement on her own Instagram account, noting that Alessi Ren Luyendyk weighs 6 pounds, 13 ounces and is 20 inches long.

“She is sweet, calm and @ariejr and I could not be more in love with her.” Lauren wrote.

Her parents have been busy posting these sweet baby photos to their own Instagram accounts, but haven’t yet posted any new photos to Alessi’s account. Still, this 1-day-old baby is pretty popular on the ‘gram. The day of her birth she had 275,000 Instagram followers, and by the next morning she’d attracted 6,000 more and her follower count continues to climb.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month Arie and Lauren explained that they picked their baby’s name way back in December, but didn’t want to tell everyone what it was until after the birth. Now that they are a family of three we know the name is Alessi, and we love it as much as Arie and Lauren do.

“It was a name we kind of tweaked into something unique,” Lauren told ET. “We don’t really know anybody who’s named that.”

Indeed, Social Security Administration data confirms the name Alessi is quite unpopular. According to Names.org, “from 1880 to 2017, the Social Security Administration has recorded 26 babies born with the first name Alessi in the United States.”

In recent years the name has become more popular. In 2008 it was given to at least five babies and the “highest recorded use of the first name Alessi was in 2017 with a total of six babies.”

According to Names.org, “Alessi is the 57,638th most popular name of all time” in the United States. Talk about unique!

Congrats to little Alessi and her parents!
