[Update: Shortly after the Duchess’ labor was announced the palace confirmed the birth of the royal baby. It’s a boy!]

The most talked about pregnancy in recent history is making history today, as The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is in labor and about to become a mama. Several royal commentators are reporting the Duchess is in labor and Harry is by her side.

We don’t yet know where Meghan will give birth. Early in her pregnancy it was expected that Baby Sussex would to be born in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s hospital like their royal cousins royal cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis were, but Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey is closer to Meghan and Harry’s home at Frogmore Cottage and does have experience with royal births.

Back in 2003 the Countess of Wessex, Sophie Rhys-Jones, delivered Lady Louise at the hospital via emergency C-section. The Countess credits hospital staff with saving her life.

Of course, a home birth is also an option!

We don’t yet know if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting a boy or a girl today, as the royal couple has said they’ve been keeping that part a surprise (which is such fun!)

Congrats to Meghan! You’ve got this, mama!
