Name: Christine Fadel Neighborhood: DUMBO, Brooklyn Occupation: Freelance writer, mama Baby’s Sex: Female How would you describe your pregnant style? Minimal, less feminine and comfortable. Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during this pregnancy? Being pregnant over the winter poses some challenges simply because of the amount of layers you have to wear and the hot flashes when you're standing outside in thirty degree weather. So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy? How quickly my body remembered what to do (it's my second pregnancy) and how fast everything grew this time. With the first, it was far more gradual. This time, it was immediate. What’s been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump? I've really enjoyed wearing these black leather leggings I've owned for forever. Since I wore them when I wasn't pregnant, they make me feel somewhat normal and yet let the bump be the focal point because they're skinny and flattering. Mind you, they are super stretchy, too, so they've actually served as great maternity wear, too. What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby? Spring! I'm from North Carolina and we don't really have spring; it goes from winter straight into summer. So being able to be outside with my baby so much on long walks before it gets too hot will be so, so very nice for both of us.
