5 Qs with Kori

Name: Kori Peters

Neighborhood: Park Slope

Occupation: Director of Media Specialists at Mfa Ltd.

Number Pregnancy: First

How would you describe your pregnant style?

Comfortable but feminine – I am trying to wear what feels good but also looks nice for work, meetings with clients and dinner dates.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your pregnant body?

With a growing bump dresses can get pretty short very quickly! I have already evolved a few dresses I bought a month ago into tee’s and bathing suit cover-ups.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

How often people stop me on the street to congratulate me, give me their predictions on what they think I am having, tips on what stroller I should buy... who says New Yorkers aren’t friendly?!

What's been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?

I was recently introduced to the maternity line at Asos and have been living in their jean shorts over the weekends. You can’t tell they are maternity items and the pieces are all stylish and affordable.

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

Walking around Prospect Park. There is so much to see there that that I think my baby will love – ducks, horses, dogs, fun people watching...
