Name: Makeba Rasin

Neighborhood: Park Slope, Brooklyn

Occupation: Worked in education and public media but am at home with my toddler son now

Baby’s Sex: Boy

How would you describe your pregnant style?

Very similar to my non-pregnant style: I always like to be comfortable and casual but hopefully not boring or--the worst--schlumpy. Jeans, clogs, big shirts or tunics. I try to add the creativity in either the patterns, colors, or textures. I like Eileen Fisher, Marimekko, Camper--comfortable but fun.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy?

I often can't decide what looks better--form fitting or over-the-top flowy and blousy. Here I went flowy and comfrotable.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

I'm trying to think of something, but I can't. I have to say, though, I'm pretty psyched not to have too many suprises--so far :)

What’s been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?

Paige jeans and Michael Stars t-shirts.

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

I love lounging with my family on the long meadow in Prospect Park on a beautiful day spring or summer day. Central Park isn't bad either!

Makeba is wearing:

A Madeleine dress. Ridiculously comfortable.
