5 Qs with Stephanie

Baby’s Sex: Male

How would you describe your pregnant style?

Classic base heaped with texture and unique pieces.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy?

Boobs, these are new to me and figuring out how to wear items in my closet with this new body, frustrating at first but I’ve grown to enjoy it. I initially just tried to size up a bit with non-maternity wear, but to be honest it looked terrible and needed to focus more on maternity wear.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

Seeing how much I still can do and can’t do at the same time. Strange but certain things that I felt would be difficult are a breeze and then visa versa. I’ve been fortunate to feel pretty good throughout, but sometimes forget that I’m almost eight months pregnant and don’t understand why I’m a bit winded after climbing the subway stairs…

What’s been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?

My Ella Moss shirts, these are awesome, they are carbon copies of some of my favorite tops. Also all the cool maternity workout clothes! Especially those by FitBump and Beyond Yoga. I’m actually shocked none of the big brands offer maternity athletic wear, hear me Nike?

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

Both me and my husband were born and raised in the City and I have such fond memories of the parks. I can’t wait to take the little guy to all of them. Brooklyn Bridge Park, Central Park, Riverside they’re a unique luxury in this crazy city.

For all the sweating and swimming I do in the summer, it seems illogical for my skin to be as parched as ever. But your mid-thirties (and 2020 in general) don't really seem to follow any rule book, so here we are.

A couple of months ago, I was on the lookout for a moisturizer that would not only keep my legs from looking like an ashy mess, but also truly nourish and benefit my skin. I've developed a deep interest in skin care for my face over the past few years and decided it's high time to extend that degree of consideration to the rest of my body. (After all, there's more of it, right?)

It's not that I'm too concerned with aging, but let's be real. If there's something that can be done to slow the Wrinkle Express, I'm going to give it a go. I also wanted to find something natural that wouldn't turn into a goopy mess the second I started sweating.
