Once July hits, our cravings favor foods in sub-zero temps. Mainly those that come in swirl, stick or cone form. And while we’re all about indulging--especially with baby on board--we love finding a recipe that will both satisfy our taste buds and nutrition levels.

For that ice cold treat, Katie Lee of the Food Network’s hit show The Kitchen and author of The Comfort Table: Recipes for Everyday Occasions, gives us the perfect solution. “Kids and adults alike will love these guilt free Honey-Cherry Yogurt Popsicles!” says Katie Lee. “They’re perfect on a hot summer day, and no special equipment is needed. Just use a small paper cup and a popsicle stick, fill with the mixture and freeze! And, the cherries are rich in iron and vitamin C, and Greek yogurt has about twice the amount of protein as regular varieties.” Um, yes, please!

Honey-Cherry Yogurt Popsicles Recipe:

6 SERVINGS

PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES

INACTIVE PREP TIME: AT LEAST 4 HOURS TO FREEZE

1 cup plain Greek-style yogurt

½ cup honey

½ cup coarsely chopped pitted cherries (thawed, if frozen)

Mix the yogurt and honey until combined. Stir in the cherries. Divide among 6 ice-pop molds. Freeze at least 4 hours, until completely solid.
