This refreshing mocktail is very light with just a light fragrance of rose—the perfect pick me up for mammas-to-be who are feeling not so rosey. Hydration is so important if you’ve been feeling bleh, and this combination lends vitamin C along with a boost of water. Vitamin C is an important building block collagen, which is then used in creating bone, tendons, cartilage, and skin. It’s also important for mom’s immune system and can even help with iron absorption.

1 serving:

Ice

3 fresh strawberries, green tops removed

1 Tablespoon agave nectar (or to taste)

2 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 2 small lemons)

¼ teaspoon rose water

2 (¼-inch) cucumber slices

    1. Put 6 ounces of water in an ice-filled drinking glass.

Muddle the strawberries, agave nectar, lemon juice, rose water, and cucumbers until mashed in a cocktail shaker. Pour in the ice water and shake vigorously. Strain the lemonade through a fine mesh strainer into a new ice-filled drinking glass and serve.
