How would you describe your pregnancy style?

Luckily, even before this pregnancy, oversized and boho were my thing. I’m now able to incorporate much of my existing wardrobe into my pregnancy style (with the help of maternity bottoms- like pants from H&M and leggings from Motherhood Maternity). I’m also very lucky to work in a family business environment where I can wear what I am comfortable in.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during this pregnancy?

Now that summer is here, dressing my body is definitely more of a challenge. Trying to strike a balance between staying cool and comfortable, while covering up and feeling secure with these new curves is a fine balance. One solution I’ve found are a great pair of maternity bicycle shorts from Target. I can slip them on under any of the dresses I wear for extra coverage.

So far, what has surprised you most during this pregnancy?

What hasn’t surprised me?! Pregnancy has a ton of ups and downs that no one can prepare for until they’ve experienced it. This will be my first baby, so every day has been an exciting, new experience for me and my husband. Everyone has been so supportive, especially my husband. I get home from work around 7:45 each night, and he often has a full tub and candles waiting– such a welcome relief after a long day.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with you baby?

My husband and I love to laugh. I can’t wait to have a third member of the family to entertain and share laughs with. And bath time. I cannot wait for bath time with baby Jack!

What’s your top 5 registry essentials?

I’m super lucky to have two baby gear/style experts who I can really depend on: my parents. They owned a high-end boutique baby store outside of Philly for 35 years (they actually sold the store just a few months before my pregnancy) so I lucked out.
