If you still have Toys “R” Us Gift cards in your wallet, but your local store is looking pretty picked over in the midst of liquidation sales, you can now use Toys “R” Us gift cards at Bed Bath & Beyond.

You’d better act fast though. The offer ends when the clock ticks midnight on Thursday, April 5, according to the Bed Bath & Beyond website.

The cards need a minimum balance of $20, and here’s the catch: You’re not going to get the full value. “With the impending Toys R Us store closings, the price may vary,” Bed Bath & Beyond states on its website, directing users to its Card Cash exchange page, you can put in the amount on your Toys “R” Us gift card (or gift cards from tons of other retailers) and see how much Bed Bath & Beyond will give you for it.

As of this writing, the Bed Bath & Beyond website was offering $64.20 in credit for a $100 Toys “R” Us gift card.

It may not be as much as some gift card holders were hoping to spend, but with time running out for Toys “R” Us, consumers may find a better selection at Bed Bath & Beyond.

On March 15 a representative for Toys “R” Us told Motherly “gift cards along with Rewards dollars and Endless Earnings are being honored for the next 30 days,” but with the liquidation sales progressing, it might be a good bet to take gift cards to Bed Bath & Beyond STAT.
