Finding baby furniture that fits into modern decor isn’t easy, but DockATot just announced a new bassinet collection that even the most aesthetically obsessed parent would be happy to bring home. This bassinet is beautiful.
Like the DockaTot (a popular baby lounger and co-sleeper), the Artistot bassinet collection was created by Swedish designer Lisa Furuland and promises to bring “high design and artisan craft making into the nursery”.
A variety of tufted and marble look fabrics, metal finishes and interchangeable pedestals make the Artistot customizable and chic.
“We are thrilled and excited to introduce Aristot, our new luxury collection of bassinets made to work with our docks,” DockATot notes in a post on its Facebook page. “Not only that, the bases are interchangeable allowing parents to mix and match. And the best part, they transform into adult furniture once baby has grown.”
After seeing the first images of the Artistots on Instagram and Facebook, many parents were in love at first sight. Some commenters wanted to place an order immediately, but according to the Atistot website, the bassinets won’t be available until the fall of 2018.
Other moms have noted that it won’t be the wait, but rather the Aristot’s high price point that will keep them from purchasing one. The bassinets will retail for $1,500 and up.
