Justin Timberlake helped this lucky mama reveal the sex of her baby 🎉

For some, it's one of the most fun parts of pregnancy. Your doctor has told you whether you're expecting a little girl or little boy, and it's your secret to reveal in your own time, in your own way.

You get to decide where, when and how you're going to tell your friends and family, and for one lucky woman, the best time and place was a Justin Timberlake show.

Maddie Putrino is a long-time Timberlake fan, and when she came to a recent show armed with signs about her reveal she thought she might get a selfie with the man of the woods himself.

Her sign caught Timberlake's eye but he had way more than a quick selfie in mind. "He kind of stopped the show after one of his songs to announce the gender reveal," Putrino told the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin. "I thought he would just take a picture with me and he announced it to the whole crowd."

Putrino says she's lucky she got in on video because she was so excited the moment passed in a blur.

Putrino and her husband Nick are already proud parents to a little boy. The news that Timberlake revealed was music to their ears.

Unfortunately, JT won't be doing any more baby announcements in the near future, as he's had to cancel some performances due to bruised vocal cords.

"I'm gonna make this up to you," Timberlake wrote in an Instagram post announcing the concert cancellation.

Rest up JT, because there are a lot of mamas out there who would love to use your vocal cords to make their big announcement.

Congrats to Maddie Putrino on becoming a #girlmom! 🎉

You will always be their safe space, mama

You are their haven. Their harbor. Their sanctuary, their peace. You are comfort. Deep breaths. Hugs and back rubs. You're a resting place, a nightmare chaser, a healer. You are the calm within their storm. You are their mother.

To your child, you are safety. You are security. You are where (out of anyone or any place), they can come undone. Where they can let it all out, let it all go. Where they meltdown, break down, scream, cry, push.

Where they can say—"I AM NOT OKAY!"

Where they can totally lose it. Without judgment or fear or shame.

Because they know you'll listen. They know you'll hear them. That you will help piece the mess back together.

Sorry, you can’t meet our baby yet

Thank you for understanding. ❤️

In just over three weeks, we will become parents. From then on, our hearts will live outside of our bodies. We will finally understand what everyone tells you about bringing a child into the world.

Lately, the range of emotions and hormones has left me feeling nothing short of my new favorite mom word, "hormotional." I'm sure that's normal though, and something most people start to feel as everything suddenly becomes real.

Our bags are mostly packed, diaper bag ready, and birth plan in place. Now it's essentially a waiting game. We're finishing up our online childbirth classes which I must say are quite informational and sometimes entertaining. But in between the waiting and the classes, we've had to think about how we're going to handle life after baby's birth.

FEATURED VIDEO

I don't mean thinking and planning about the lack of sleep, feeding schedule, or just the overall changes a new baby is going to bring. I'm talking about how we're going to handle excited family members and friends who've waited just as long as we have to meet our child. That sentence sounds so bizarre, right? How we're going to handle family and friends? That sentence shouldn't even have to exist.
