Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith look absolutely thrilled in their Instagram baby announcement (photographed by Jenna Jones), which Moore captioned "Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021."

The actress and singer married Goldsmith in 2018 and Moore has been playing a mama on TV even longer than that. Back in 2017, she told E! News that her role on This Is Us made her "ovaries start kicking."

Three years later she can feel a baby kicking!

Congratulations to Mandy + Taylor! 🎉

Brittany Cartwright + Jax Taylor are expecting a baby!

Vanderpump Rules fans have another birth to look forward to as Brittany + Jax join the growing number of current and former cast members becoming parents.

The couple broke the news on Instagram where they both posted the same series of photographs with their sonogram photo.

"Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon," Brittany captioned her post.

Dad-to-be Jax captioned his slides: "Sooooo,........I am gonna be Dad.."

Ashley Tisdale is going to be a mama! 🎉

Ashley Tisdale dropped some huge news on Instagram—she's pregnant!

The 35-year-old High School Musical actress and her husband Christopher French both posted a series of pregnancy photos to their accounts. Tisdale didn't add a caption and just let her bump speak for itself.

Her former co-star Vanessa Hudgens was quick to comment, writing "Just the freaking cutest."

Tisdale and French have been married since 2014 and have talked about wanting kids in the past but Tisdale says the constant questions about whether or when they would start a family were overwhelming.

"[After] I got engaged EVERYONE (and I mean everyone!) asked when I was getting married," she wrote on her blog, Frenshe. "Then, once I was married, everyone was asking when I was having kids. To be honest, it just felt invasive. I wasn't ready for that step yet and I wanted to be selfish and have Chris all to myself for a while."

She continues: "[G]oing through my mental health journey, it wouldn't have been the right timing for such a huge life change. I'm not naive about how a baby changes everything as I have a niece and plenty of friends with kids. I'm glad I worked on myself before we decided to make this decision. After six years of marriage, we built a strong foundation, and the timing just felt right."

Tisdale says her first trimester hasn't been easy but she's looking forward to the rest of this journey and to sharing her family's story on her own timeline.

Tisdale reminds the world that if, when or how a person chooses to start a family are personal questions and we never know someone else's story.

Country singer Mickey Guyton is pregnant! 🎉

Country musician Mickey Guyton is expecting her first child with her husband, Grant Savoy.

This year has already been an intense one for the "Black Like Me" singer and it's now even more emotional.

"God sent me an angel in these dark times and I am beyond grateful and terrified and all of the things," she wrote over an Instagram story showing a bump selfie.

"I'm so excited to announce that I'm having a baby! My life completely changed in an instant. Literally nothing else matters," Guyton captioned an Instagram post of her ultrasound photos. "I'm so excited and terrified all at the same time. I have no idea what I am doing but am so thankful that God chose me to be this baby's mom 😭👶🏽🤰🏾"

Surprise! Chrissy Teigen + John Legend are expecting 3rd child!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend sure know how to do a baby announcement!

This week Legend dropped the video for his new single "Wild", which features the couple's two beautiful kids, 4-year-old Luna and 2-year-old Miles...and shows the couple holding onto Teigen's mid-section in way that suggests she's expecting.

Fans have been busy filling comment sections with questions about whether a third child is on the way, and while neither Teigen or Legend have made a statement about the pregnancy, E! News has confirmed it and "multiple sources" have confirmed it to People.

Back in September 2018, Teigen talked about her plans for a third child in an interview with People, noting that she and John still have some embryos waiting (both Miles and Luna were conceived via in vitro fertilization).

"John wants however many kids I want. That's the good thing with John—he is down for it," Teigen told People at the time.

"Are we ready right now? No! I really love having two, but I think when I'm 70, I'll look back and say, 'Oh, I wish I had more.' I can't see myself regretting having a ton of kids."

Two years later it seems she's ready for another.

Congratulations to Chrissy + John!

Shortly after being fired from Vanderpump Rules because former co-star Faith Stowers accused Schroder and other cast members of racist actions, Stassi Schroder has confirmed she is pregnant with her first child.

Schroder has not yet publicly commented on her pregnancy but has apologized for the series of events that led to her leaving the Bravo series.

"Racially insensitive comments from my past have resurfaced. It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better," Schroeder wrote on Instagram. "I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused. I am grateful for the people in my life that continue to check me and push me to evolve into a more educated person."

Schroder is engaged to Beau Clark. The two had planned to get married this summer but postponed the event due to COVID-19.

Report: Michelle Williams is engaged + pregnant 🎉

Mom of one Michelle Williams will soon be a mom of two!

News of the actress' pregnancy and engagement to Tony Award-winning director Thomas Kail was first reported by People and confirmed by E! News. The actress split from her former husband musician Phil Elverum nearly a year ago.

Williams and Kail previously worked together when Kail directed Fosse/Verdon, in which Williams starred. She won an Emmy for that performance and her powerful Emmy acceptance speech inspired working moms everywhere by acknowledging "what is possible when a woman is trusted to discern her own needs, feels safe enough to voice them, and respected enough that they'll be heard."

Williams' incredible speech ended with a shout out to her 14-year-old daughter, Matilda, who she shared with the late Heath Ledger: "Matilda, this is for you, like everything else."

Matilda was just 2 years old when she and Williams lost Ledger in 2008.

In the years since his death, Williams has protected their daughter's privacy with the same intensity she brings to her work. In addition to her Emmy win, she has won a Golden Globe and been nominated for four Academy Awards since becoming a mother.

Williams has demonstrated that motherhood is no impediment to professional success and we can't wait to see what she does as a mother of two!

I felt lost as a new mother, but babywearing helped me find myself again

I wish someone had told me before how special wearing your baby can be, even when you have no idea how to do it.

My first baby and I were alone in our Brooklyn apartment during a particularly cold spring with yet another day of no plans. My husband was back at work after a mere three weeks of parental leave (what a joke!) and all my friends were busy with their childless lives—which kept them too busy to stop by or check in (making me, at times, feel jealous).

It was another day in which I would wait for baby to fall asleep for nap number one so I could shower and get ready to attempt to get out of the house together to do something, anything really, so I wouldn't feel the walls of the apartment close in on me by the time the second nap rolled around. I would pack all the diapers and toys and pacifiers and pump and bottles into a ginormous stroller that was already too heavy to push without a baby in it .

Then I would spend so much time figuring out where we could go with said stroller, because I wanted to avoid places with steps or narrow doors (I couldn't lift the stroller by myself and I was too embarrassed to ask strangers for help—also hi, New Yorkers, please help new moms when you see them huffing and puffing up the subway stairs, okay?). Then I would obsess about the weather, was it too cold to bring the baby out? And by the time I thought I had our adventure planned, the baby would wake up, I would still be in my PJs and it was time to pump yet again.

Slowly, but surely, and mostly thanks to sleep deprivation and isolation, I began to detest this whole new mom life. I've always been a social butterfly. I moved to New York because I craved that non-stop energy the city has and in the years before having my baby I amassed new friends I made through my daily adventures. I would never stop. I would walk everywhere just to take in the scenery and was always on the move.

Now I had this ball and chain attached to me, I thought, that didn't even allow me to make it out of the door to walk the dog. This sucks, I would think regularly, followed by maybe I'm not meant to be a mom after all.

It's science: Why your baby stops crying when you stand up

A fascinating study explains why.

When your baby is crying, it feels nearly instinctual to stand up to rock, sway and soothe them. That's because standing up to calm babies is instinctual—driven by centuries of positive feedback from calmed babies, researchers have found.

"Infants under 6 months of age carried by a walking mother immediately stopped voluntary movement and crying and exhibited a rapid heart rate decrease, compared with holding by a sitting mother," say authors of a 2013 study published in Current Biology.

Even more striking: This coordinated set of actions—the mother standing and the baby calming—is observed in other mammal species, too. Using pharmacologic and genetic interventions with mice, the authors say, "We identified strikingly similar responses in mouse pups as defined by immobility and diminished ultrasonic vocalizations and heart rate."
