Troian Bellisario + Patrick J. Adams describe their daughter's birth—in their car

"I whip around, and by the time I turn my head around, Troian is fully on her hands and knees [in the back of the car] and we've gone nuclear."

Last month, actors Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams welcomed their second baby, a daughter they named Elliot Rowena Adams.

Proud parents Troian and Patrick are revealing more about little Elliot's birth—it was anything but a typical delivery.

For starters, Troian gave birth in the hospital parking lot. In their car.

The famous couple recently joined Katie Lowes on her podcast, Katie's Crib.

Their older daughter Aurora was born in 2018. But the stars revealed that their newborn came into the world in the "wildest" way.

The Pretty Little Liars actress revealed that she thought she was having false labor pains—Braxton Hicks contractions—but realized she was actually in labor.

The couple rushed to the hospital, while Troian became more "uncomfortable" by the minute. They made it to the hospital parking lot—but that's when Troian began screaming.

"As soon as I hit the button and get the ticket, she's screaming," the Suits actor said. "I whip around, and by the time I turn my head around, Troian is fully on her hands and knees [in the back of the car] and we've gone nuclear."

Patrick ran to get help from a security guard, but Troian realized their daughter was coming and yelled for him to come back.

"I scream, 'Get my pants off! Pull my pants down!" explained Troian.

"So she is still on all fours, butt facing the windshield. Her butt's at my head level, so I just go and pull down her pants," Patrick added.

As soon as he helped pull down her pants, Patrick saw their daughter's head. Minutes later, Elliot was born—and Patrick caught their daughter.

Wow!

Mama Troian said it best on Instagram: "Ms Elliot Rowena Adams joined us on May 15th under the wildest of circumstances."

Congratulations to Patrick and Troian for successfully bringing their daughter into the world. Parenting really is about doing whatever it takes to keep our kids healthy—and they definitely delivered!
