21 useful (and adorable!) gifts for parents expecting multiples

I'm currently expecting twins so I've done a lot of research (more hours than I want to admit to anyone) on the best products for twin babies and toddlers. This gift guide will give you options on what to get parents of multiples, whether a mama is currently pregnant or their littles are infants—and beyond. And remember, having multiple babies does not mean that parents need duplicates of *everything.* Most families likely already have the basics (car seat and bassinets) taken care of so these are all the cute extras they'll love to have.

Here are the best products for multiple babies:

Lalo high chair

I chose this chair over the other gazillion ones available because once your children outgrow the high chair mode, this turns into a toddler play chair, which gives your investment a way longer life than other feeding chairs. It's also super stylish and modern without compromising any of the safety needs for little ones.

$195

TwinGo carrier

I love baby wearing because it's so beneficial for everyone involved, however one parent cannot carry two babies in regular carriers. Enter: TwinGo, the one carrier in the market that allows you to wear two babies at the same time. It's ideal for parents who will be solo with two kids, and after some practice, it's as easy to use as any other carrier.

$215

Table for two seat

This ingenious seat for two is key for one parent to be able to bottle-feed two infants at the same time. It's also safe to strap babies in there while the bottles are being prepared. The cover comes in different colors and it's water-resistant for easy cleaning. Plus, there's a bottle holder on each side so parents won't need to worry about mixing the bottles up. Genius!

$279

Uppababy Vista stroller

The Vista is the only UPPAbaby stroller that allows you to configure it to push up to three kids at the same time. You can have two bassinets, two car seats or two rumble seats (depending at what stage your kids are). Pro tip: Add a kickboard for an older child to stand on. Babies will be positioned vertically instead of next to each other, which make the Vista a great stroller for city parents as it easily goes through doors and entrances.

$1109

4moms mamaRoo swing

Both parents of singletons and multiples recommend having one baby swing or rocker to put down baby safely to be able to do something else. The mamaRoo has been a favorite in the parenting world because of the soothing settings it has. Keep in mind, this is not a sleep device so do not use overnight or leave your baby unattended in it. Pro tip: You can add a newborn insert and toys to keep your little one entertained and calm for hours.

$249

Humble Bee diaper bag

This is hands down my favorite diaper bag out there and it's great for all parents, whether you have one or three. Some of our favorite features? It's super spacious, water-resistant, has an insulated pocket to prevent milk spoiling, clips easily into any stroller and the changing pad is next level—store diapers and wipes together so you don't need to carry the entire bag for a changing.

$59.95

Baby Brezza formula mixer

If you know you are going to formula or combo feed the Baby Brezza is a must-have. This contraption makes bottles in less than 30 seconds (which in the middle of the night with screaming babies can be a lifesaver). You can set the amount of water, the type of formula and let the machine do its thing. I personally love that I never have to worry about having clots in the bottle—it's always the perfect consistency.

$203.61

Comotomo bottle set

Speaking of bottle feeding, this Comotomo bottle set is fabulous for parents of multiple newborns. You can get it in two different colors (pink and green) to help differentiate between which baby gets what bottle (which I think is a great idea for identical twins) and the wide nipple resembles a breast, helping babies switch easily from bottle to boob if you choose.

$59.99

Lively Mesh Trim Maternity Bralette

There are so many breastfeeding bras out there, but trust me when I say this is my absolute favorite. The second I put it on, I felt three million times better. The material is softer so it doesn't make nipples itch. The cute is flattering and sexy, and does not make your boobs look like a shapeless blob. Plus, I love the details like the mesh around the cups and the overlap in fabric that covers your full breast.

$35

My Breast Friend nursing pillow

Breastfeeding pillows are great because they help mom distribute the weight of baby. This pillow is designed specifically for twins, allowing mom to put one baby at each breast. If you're looking for just one, we're obsessed with this one that we created with all mamas in mind.

$64.99

Wireless Elvie double pump

This double pump is hands-free and super quiet. You place it inside your bra, allowing you to move around and do other things while pumping. Each bottle holds up to 5-ounces and are dishwasher-safe. As someone who pumped for 6 months and felt very limited while being attached to one for 30-40 minutes at a time, this is glorious.

$499.99

Thule jogging double stroller

This running stroller is ideal for adventurous parents as it performs well in all terrains. The canopies are separate so you can keep one baby shaded while the other takes in the view. The seats can also recline independently, allowing you to customize for your littles. Bonus: It folds super easily and it's great to maneuver around the city or the country!

$699.95

Tossits bags

If you ask me, every parent should have these in their car. It's so easy for cars to get messy and stinky with children and Tossits comes to the rescue. You attach the bags to the back of the passenger's seat and once your children are done with their snack, you (or them) can toss the garbage in a bag. Once the bag is full or the trip is over, simply rip the full bag and throw it in the trash at destination.

$15.99

TwinZ pillow

This pillow is perfect to have your littles lounge next to each other, letting you be more hands-free. Once they are ready, they can also do tummy time together. Or you can put it on your lap and have both babies snuggle with you at the same time. Remember, this is not safe for sleep so do not leave a baby snoozing unattended.

$139.99

Boob breastfeeding shirt

This boob design shirt allows for easy access to the breasts for pumping or breastfeeding. Their garments are well-designed for moms to be able to feed their children without having to hassle and fight with their clothes. I chose this one in particular for twin moms because it has a secret message when you look at yourself in the mirror.😉

$69

Ever Eden lifting + firming lotion

All birthing bodies deserve a little pampering, but especially bodies of those carrying multiples—after all, bringing a human (or two) into this world is just magical. This evereden lotion is soft, soothing and makes your skin feel incredibly refreshed.

$42

DockATot lounger

This is great to safely put babies down while you're relaxing on the couch or pumping. You can also purchase a toy arc for it to turn into a play mat as they get a little older. It's not meant for co-sleeping or safe sleeping so don't leave babies unattended in these.

$195

Twins On Board car sign

Driving around with little ones can be stressful, so adding this sign to your car will allow others to know that there are two little babies with you.

$6.84

Baby Monitor + two cameras

When I was a first-time mom, I thought I could get away with just an audio monitor, which we did while baby was an infant, but as soon as he could sit or stand up, it was clear we needed a camera monitor. So I recommend starting from the beginning with one that will last you forever.

$116.99

Shopping cart hammock

If one of the parents needs to do a shopping run solo with the twins, these shopping cart hammocks are absolutely the best. You can have both babies visible, while still having full access to toss groceries into the cart. Note: They are only good until babies start to sit up by themselves.

$49.95

Bath Time book for twins

This is just a cute book to have around to read to your kids about every day tasks, like bath time. 🛁

$6.99

If you had to only choose one product to toss in your bag, what would it be? Our guess is you're looking for something that's easy-to-use, affordable, clean and multi-tasks for you—something that'll simplify your routine because you have other things to worry about than what beauty product to grab (like making that Zoom meeting in time while you're working from home).

Enter: Arrow Beauty—a clean beauty brand created by Birchbox with products designed to save you time.

I had the chance to try out the entire product line and, let's just say I've made sure to toss one everywhere—in my bag, on my desk, in the bathroom. And during this pandemic, it's made getting ready (okay, looking presentable for video calls) in the mornings so much simpler.

Each product is created to be something you grab and go when you're in a rush. Everything is free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and mineral oil, vegan and cruelty-free so you can still give your littles all the snuggles and kisses without stressing about transferring any bad ingredients over. And, they're designed to travel well. Birchbox made sure Arrow Beauty featured leak-proof and carry-on friendly items. Did we mention everything is under $25?

Here's what is in their first launch:

Nourishing lip oil

birchbox arrow lip oil

This one might be my favorite from the collection. A lip oil that leaves a high-shine finish that isn't sticky (!!!) and keeps your lips moisturized for hours. It comes in clear, perfect to top off your favorite shade, or color enhancing pink that reacts to the pH level of your skin, making a unique shade for you.

$16

Radiant skin moisturizer

birchbox arrow skin moisturizer

Have no time in the morning? Massage this into your skin for the ultimate pick-me-up. It has a subtle sheen that illuminates and nourishing ingredients—hyaluronic acid and aloe—that hydrates and gives you a glow.

$24

Color enhancing lip balm

birchbox arrow lip balm

The Birchbox team listened to customer feedback to reformulate their OG tinted balm and it's *so* good. There are three shades—berry, coral and blush—that look incredible on all skin tones because it reacts to the pH in your skin to enhance your natural color. Even better? It's buildable!

We all know dry skin is a real thing, and since we've been washing our hands a lot more recently (thanks, coronavirus) and dousing them with anti-bacterial gel, they are much drier than usual. Combine that with the cool air and our hands feel like we're rubbing a piece of paper on our cheek.

As we're social distancing, we have a bit more time on our hands these days so we've given these hand creams a test drive to find what best works to keep moisture in.

Here are 10 of the best hand creams for combating dry skin, according to our editor:

L'Occitane shea butter hand cream

L'Occitane shea butter hand cream

Did you know that this classic hand cream is sold every 2 seconds around the world? Honey, almond extract and coconut oil are blended with shea butter to protect and moisturize the driest hands. We also love the natural, smoky nutty scent that lasts between hand washes.

$29

Origins rejuvenating hand treatment

Origins rejuvenating hand treatment

This sweet-smelling cream is infused with rose of Jericho—also known as resurrection plant—and trehalose and sea haricots, which work hand-in-hand to help skin recover from extreme dryness. Just massage into hands as needed, apply as often as necessary.

$26

EltaMD so silky hand crème

EltaMD so silky hand cr\u00e8me

If your hands are scaly and rough to the touch, you'll love that the silky-smooth texture of this cream is very soothing. It seriously feels like butter. It also helps maintain moisture for up to 12 hours even after hand washing. Keep in your pocket to reapply during the day.

$19.99

Moroccanoil hand cream

Moroccanoil hand cream

Sure it's great to keep hands hydrated, but if they leave your hands feeling greasy and sticky, that may not be for you. This lightweight formula features argan and avocado oils plus cocoa, shea and mango butters that leaves your hands super silky and smooth.

$24

Aveeno daily moisturizing hand cream

Aveeno daily moisturizing hand cream

You don't have to spend loads of money on a good hand cream. This drugstore favorite helps heal dry skin and forms a protective barrier against the elements. It's also non-greasy, fast absorbing, steroid-free, fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin—even little ones.

$7.29

Skinfix eczema + hand repair cream

Skinfix eczema + hand repair cream

Plump, tone and tighten the skin with this cream that's clinically proven to treat eczema and dry, cracked skin on hands. A dermatologist-led clinical study found that after just one week users noticed a 111% increase in skin moisturization. Now that's a super-healer we can all get behind.

$18

Kiehl's since 1851 ultimate strength hand salve

Kiehl's since 1851 ultimate strength hand salve

The cool thing about this cream is that it allows skin to draw and absorb water from the air, forming a "glove-like" protective barrier against moisture loss. It's also made up of a blend of botanical oils and wax derived from olive oil to soothe, moisturize and condition skin. We're obsessed!

$23

lano hand cream intense

lano hand cream intense

This silky hand cream is so good it's considered 'the hand cream for hand cream experts' because its primary ingredient, lanolin, is secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals. A 2017 study indicated that lanolin can reduce water lost through the skin by 20 to 30%. Now that's impressive!

$14.95

Aesop resurrection aromatique hand balm

Aesop resurrection aromatique hand balm

We must admit that an annoying feature of most hand creams is that they take forever to absorb. It seems like you're rubbing for hours, only to discover that it's sticky and the smell is annoying. This balm, which is one of Aesop's most popular products, instantly softens hands and cuticles with its blend of sweet almond and coconut oils, as well as cocoa and shea butter. Try it on your roughest hands for a quick moisture boost.

$30

La Roche-Posay cicaplast baume B5

La Roche-Posay cicaplast baume B5

This face and hand cream helps nourish and soothe dry skin, as well as visibly irritated areas like cracked knuckles and dry cuticles. What's more? The formula is non-sticky so you can apply it all day without feeling icky.
