I already know I am efficient, capable, strong and fierce. But, I am also fatigued, sometimes overworked and underappreciated, and worst of all expected to be the one that keeps it together for everyone else.
And I thank the heavens above that my little girl has you as a grandmother.
I'm just here to say, thank you for your vulnerability. And for your honesty. And for your poise.
Pregnancy brain is so real.
Because motherhood is a lot of things. It's messy. It's exhausting. It's joyful. It's rewarding. And it's unpredictable.
Even on the days when it feels like you got "nothing" done.

When you have the impulse to say no, see if you can find words that accomplish these goals instead.
Being okay with tears means to see them, feel them, pay attention to what they are here to teach us but eventually wipe them, smile again and take action where needed.
We've found books to be an amazing way to help our little ones.
