Brett Ann Stanciu
Brett Ann Stanciu studied philosophy and writing at Marlboro College, then opted for the agricultural life and became a maple sugarmaker – a hands-on and heartfelt endeavor. Her debut novel, Hidden View (Green Writers Press, 2015), depicts the challenges of family farming in Vermont. A regular contributor to Taproot Magazine, Stanciu's writing has appeared in diverse publications, including Vermont Literary Review, The Hopper, Green Mountains Review, VTDigger, The Long Story, and Seven Days. She and her two daughters live in a small northern Vermont village, where she blogs at stonysoilvermont.com.
