Mom Jennifer Jones was checking her daughter Delaney’s virtual school portal, looking at the video assignments the child had submitted to her teacher when she came across an epic dad moment.

Jennifer’s husband was caught on camera dancing up a storm to the Kidz Bop version of “Uptown Funk,” unaware that the craft tutorial his daughter was taping wasn’t just private imaginative play—it was destined for her teacher’s inbox.

Watch the hilarious video here:

In her post, Jennifer explains how she came across the video, “I was checking Delaney’s seesaw (app for school) and she often will send her teachers random videos wishing them well, or goodnight, or just talking to talk. Well…. I found this as a sent video from earlier today. I hope her teacher laughed as hard as I did….How’s your distance learning going?”

The video has over 7 million views in just 6 short days. Jennifer was blown away by the response her video received and felt compelled to write a heartwarming follow up post, “This year has been hard, and sad, and stressful, and emotional. Then I come home to these 4 and time stands still for a moment. I’m reminded of how blessed I am, and even on my worst days I have them to remind me what life is all about. This video is a perfect representation of the wonderful family dynamic we’re able to have when we’re all together (minus mommy being at work during this). I love that it was caught in its pure honesty of fun and joy and I love even more that others have enjoyed it too. It’s ok to pause your day, put on kidz bop kidz, and dance… or do a craft tutorial for your teacher. “

We couldn’t agree more.
