Chrisie Rosenthal is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant based in Los Angeles, and the Director of Clinical Resources at The Lactation Network. As a film producer and mother to three boys (including twins), Chrisie struggled with breastfeeding. Identifying appropriate lactation support dramatically improved her postpartum experience, and that personal journey prompted her to pursue a career as a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Now with almost 15 years of experience in clinical in-patient and outpatient lactation care, Chrisie has helped more than 8,000 families across the US through her successful private practice, The Land of Milk and Mommy. She is the author of two best-selling breastfeeding books: Lactivate!: A User’s Guide to Breastfeeding and The First-Time Mom’s Breastfeeding Handbook: A Step-by-Step Guide from First Latch to Weaning.
