If you’re too exhausted to deal with Valentine’s Day cards, here’s the solution

Adorable, simple and delivered to your door.
We independently select and share the products we love—and may receive a commission if you choose to buy.
When it comes to kids’ Valentine cards there are two camps: The impressive Camp DIY and the realistic Camp “scrawl your name on this.” Over the years, I’ve dabbled in both with my two children and if I’m being honest, I much prefer the latter. (One year we even started on the DIY route and pivoted to whatever was left at Rite-Aid because everyone was crying and fighting and well, that just misses the point entirely.) Simplicity is the name of my game, but I do love creating something special that ultimately, my kiddos are proud to hand out to their friends.
Is there a happy medium? As it turns out, there sure is. Personalized Minted Valentine’s Day cards.
Minted has been a go-to for holiday cards, but I had no idea they totally crushed it in the classroom Valentine department! Like their stellar collection of holiday cards, each design is created by an independent artist and with just a few clicks, makes you look like you’ve really got your act together. They’ve got tons of styles to choose from, each of which incorporates a photo of your child as part of the design or as a signature on the back. A major bonus for kids who are too young to read! It’s also a nice touch considering most little ones spend their days together with masks covering most of their face. You can also let your kid choose the card colors, shapes and layout on the back. (Including a tic tac toe board!)
The prices vary and you opt to add custom stickers for an additional charge, but they’re surprisingly affordable starting at $17 for 15 cards. And if it saves even the slightest bit of aggravation, they’re worth double in my book.
After all, don’t we all have enough on our plates?
