Name: Jennifer Labinski

Neighborhood: Moved from West Village a little over a year ago, now living in Connecticut.

Occupation: Freelance Event Planner, Blogger, Full Time Momma to two babes (soon to be three)

Baby’s Gender: Surprise!

How would you describe your pregnant style?

Now on my third pregnancy I feel like I’ve curated a pretty solid collection of basics: black leggings (currently loving the BLANQI brand ), maternity tanks from Gap, and because I’m 5′ 11″, the tall full panel maternity jeans from the Gap, and Bamboobies nursing shawl which I’ll use as much after baby arrives as I do now. My pre-pregnancy style is fairly classic with a boho edge. I live for skinny jeans with flowy tunic style tops and a simple flat. In the warmer months, any flowy maxi dress where I can run around with the kids during the day and dress it up at night is my go to.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy?

Nothing that I don’t need to deal with when I am not pregnant! I have long legs, which can be wonderful but can also make finding great pants and even dresses a bit tricky. I like to be comfortable but not sacrifice style completely, so finding the right brands to work with my body type is important.

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?

I was incredibly surprised how much harder my second pregnancy was because it was no longer just about caring for myself. Now, I think I am surprised at how I can barely even think about my third pregnancy while caring for my 3 and 1 year old! It wasn’t always smooth sailing-especially the first trimester but there isn’t any time to dwell on it.

What are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?

Their siblings! I can’t wait to see how my two older children react to the new baby and how their relationship changes. I never imagined having three kids and I’m excited about the fun (and trouble) they are going to cause together. I can’t wait to see the difference in how my daughter reacts to this baby now that she’s older. She’s so excited. We are a very close family and I look forward to traveling and all the adventures we will take together as they grow.

What’s your 5 registry essentials?

  1. Ergo 360. The only way I could keep up with free hands. The ergo provides the back support for me and the comfort and supper for a newborn.
  2. Miracle Swaddles.
  3. Dohm Noise Machine. (more than one young babe in the house/apartment?! beyond necessary)
  4. Tane Organics Onesies.
  5. Comotomo bottles.
