When it comes to potty training, we’ll try any method that works. So, apparently, will Josh Brolin.

The Academy Award-nominated actor shared how he’s working to potty train his 2-year-old daughter Westlyn Reign—and it involves “the power of example.”

Brolin shared an image to Instagram of himself sitting on his daughter’s plastic pink potty seat while she happily watches.

“There’s nothing like the power of example (what to do and what not to do). ” he captioned the post.

He also shared a playful picture of himself falling comically, while his daughter watches.

Look, some kids learn best through demonstration! We love this technique and how Brolin embraced his parenting duties—with humor and love.

Brolin and his wife Kathryn welcomed Westlyn in 2018. Their second child together, a baby girl named Chapel Grace, was born on Christmas 2020.

The Avengers: Endgame actor also has two adult children—daughter Eden, 26, and son Trevor, 32—from his first marriage.

The experienced dad knows that when it comes to potty training, sometimes, you need to pull out all the stops.
