Teigen and her husband, John Legend, shared the joyful news yesterday that they’d welcomed their fourth child, Wren, via surrogate on June 19. For making this whole experience so wonderful,” Alexandra writes in a comment. “For loving me and my family whole heartedly. It was truly an honor bringing perfect Wren into the world with you right by my side.” In Wednesday’s surprise Instagram statement, Teigen opened up about always wanting four children. “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children,” Teigen wrote, revealing she began pursuing surrogacy in 2021 after losing her son, Jack, but before conceiving daughter Esti. “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she continued. “And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.” And, apropos of nothing, Wren has the best head of hair of any newborn in existence.
