Amy Schumer just announced her pregnancy in a way totally fitting for a comedian.
She started by editing her own face and her husband Chris Fischer’s onto a photo of the most famously expecting couple in the world right now: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. But her announcement didn’t end with the funny photoshopping.
“About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin insta page. Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what’s really going on,” Schumer captioned the humorously edited pic.
When followers clicked over to Yellin’s News Not Noise Stories, the former CNN Chief White House Correspondent explained she had some happy news as she threw to a screenshot of voting recommendations from Schumer.
“So I’m not in the business of making voting recommendations, but these are the recommendations of Amy Schumer, one of the most consistent and earliest supporters of News Not Noise . Now read all the way to the bottom, you’ll see there’s some news down there. Congratulations, Amy,” Yellin explained.
Down at the bottom of a screenshot of Schumer’s voting list the actress wrote “I’m pregnant”.
When Schumer and Fischer got married back in February there was some speculation about a pregnancy, but Schumer quickly set the record straight. She wasn’t pregnant then, but she so is now.
Congratulations to Schumer and Fischer! ?
