Two months after welcoming her first child, Paris Hilton is opening up about how motherhood has changed her. The new mom appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” to talk about this new phase of her life, People reports.

The entrepreneur, 42, couldn’t stop gushing about her, “little angel,” whom she said has already changed her so much.

“I’m so obsessed with him. My whole heart feels so full. I feel like my life is so complete now,” the new mom shared.

Hilton welcomed her baby boy, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, in January with husband Carter Reum.

Hilton added that the whole experience has been transformative. “I just feel that this is a whole new phase of my life, and even with his name Phoenix,” she says. “I feel like this is all about transforming and becoming a new person and growing in ways that I couldn’t even imagine before.”

Motherhood changes everything. It stretches your heart in ways you didn’t know could be possible. All of a sudden this tiny bundle of joy encompasses every facet of your life and all at once you understand every parent before you a little better.

Paris Hilton also talked about her decision to keep her journey to motherhood so private. She explained, “I just feel that my life has been so public, and I just wanted this for myself.”

“I didn’t want to have to deal with the media and people online talking about my son before he came into this world safe and healthy and happy,” she added.

In another recent interview the mom of one also spoke about how she’s “never been more ready for anything in my life.”

“[It’s] a love that I’ve never experienced before. My heart just feels so full, and I just want to protect him.”

Hilton talked about the struggles she outlines in her memoir saying that, “Creating my own family and a real life—because I’ve been kind of having to play this character and living this life for so long,” has helped her she said.

“And I feel like having a family, having children, is what I’ve always been meant to do.”
