During a memorial service for her mom, Lisa Marie Presley, Riley Keough’s husband Ben Smith-Petersen delivered a heartbreaking speech on behalf of his wife—and shared the bittersweet news that the couple has a baby girl.

The tribute was an emotional one after Presley’s unexpected death on Jan. 12. She was initially rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for a possible cardiac arrest, but died later at the age of 54.

“I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters,” Smith-Petersen reciting his wife’s written words. “Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart.”

Smith-Petersen and Keough married eight years ago after meeting on the set of “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The couple’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE that they did indeed welcome a baby girl in 2022, but did not reveal any further information.

A few days after her mother’s death, Riley shared a beautiful photo of her and her mother during her childhood.

“Thank you for showing me that love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother, my sisters,” Smith-Petersen read from Keough’s speech.

It’s clear from the words, memories, and images shared that Lisa Marie Presley was a loving mother and daughter. It’s heartbreaking to think of how her children are grieving her loss, especially knowing she was a grandmother too.

Presley was laid to rest next to her son, Benjamin, in the same memorial garden where her father and grandparents are buried at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
