Kim Kardashian welcomes baby girl via surrogate

Congratulations are in order for the Kardashian-West family! Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s third child was born on Sunday, the proud mama revealed on her website today.

“We’re so in love,” Kardashian says in her statement, which notes the little sweetie was born at 12:47 a.m. and weighs in at 7 lbs., 4 oz.

Although the arrival officially expands the family to five, it seems they have an honorary new member in the surrogate mother.

“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give,” Kardashian says. “And to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”

She adds that big sister North and big brother Saint are “especially thrilled” to welcome their little sister.

Now for the big question: What is Baby Girl West’s name?!

Unfortunately for us, we may have to wait a while. West and Kardashian withheld their creative pick for North’s name until her birth certificate was made public and for Saint’s name until Kardashian shared it with help from some personalized emojis.

We’ll be eagerly waiting for the reveal this time—but no pressure on the family. We hope they are simply enjoying these first days as a family of five.
