By Zara Hanawalt November 18, 2020 Meghan Trainor/Instagram Rectangle One thing you quickly learn when you’re pregnant is that your baby is with you 24/7…and you’re acutely aware of that presence at all times. When I was carrying my twins, it was almost as if I could imagine them right there next to me, taking in exactly what I was doing at all times. When I indulged in my junk food cravings, I imagined myself feeding those tiny babies Flamin’ Hot Cheetos directly (talk about #momguilt!). When I skipped a workout in favor of time on the couch, I almost felt their disapproval coming through my belly. And when they danced around in my belly to the theme song of my go-to reality TV binge, I thought to myself “I should probably be watching and listening to something more educational for their sake.” As it turns out, I’m not the only mama who was hyper-aware of her child’s constant presence during pregnancy. Singer Meghan Trainor opened up about her personal boundaries during this pregnancy during a recent interview. “Maybe this is weird, but mentally I can’t have sex while our son is in between us,” the popstar tells TODAY Parents. “All my pregnancy apps say it feels really good. But all I can think about is that there’s a little boy in my belly.” (If you don’t share Trainor’s mental block, Motherly has a whole guide to sex during pregnancy. It can be fun!) Please don’t take Trainor’s comments about her sex life to mean her marriage is anything less than blissful. The “Dear Future Husband” singer also gushed about husband Daryl Sabara during the very same interview. “Our relationship really messes with my girlfriends’ minds. They’re all like, ‘How the hell am I going to find a Daryl?'” she said “He’s so good. He’s unbelievable.” The couple are all set to welcome their first child, a baby boy. If Trainor’s comments are any indication, Sabara is nailing the expectant dad thing—because as most of us know, the best way to a pregnant woman’s heart is through her cravings. “If I said, ‘I want Fritos,’ he’d be like, ‘Yes, ma’am! Right away!'” the singer shared. In short? Trainor sounds like she is living he best pregnant life—and that includes an enviably relaxed outlook on giving birth. “I hope I have a healthy, safe labor. But you know how, like, anything can happen last-minute,” she told TODAY Parents. “I’m freakishly not really scared of birth yet. Which like, it’s more scary. I’m like, what, what’s wrong with me?! But I think it’s because I watched my aunt give birth twice. And I, like, fully know what’s gonna go down.” Related Stories Celebrity News Halle Bailey bravely and candidly opens up about her ‘severe’ postpartum depression Celebrity News Hilary Duff says she’s ‘no longer responding’ to messages asking when her baby is coming Celebrity News David Beckham fangirls over Spice Girls reunion at his wife’s 50th bday and it’s EVERYTHING The latest Celebrity News Halle Bailey bravely and candidly opens up about her ‘severe’ postpartum depression Viral & Trending Biscuits! ‘Bluey’ crew member says the show is officially done on Reddit Viral & Trending Mom brings baby to Coachella and offers advice for parents who want to do the same News New nationwide study shows 2/3 of all parents feel lonely and burnt out
