In case you thought the Queen was the star of her Platinum Jubilee weekend, think again—all the glory goes to Prince Louis, the youngest child of Prince William and Duchess Kate. He singlehandedly stole the spotlight only the way a four-year-old child forced to participate in a family event can.

From his appearance on the balcony during Trooping the Color on Friday to his hilarious face-making while sitting next to his mum during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on Sunday, this kiddo gave everyone quite the show. One, because he’s absolutely adorable (and seems to have the best personality), but also because moms of four-year-olds everywhere collectively nodded like, “Yep. Four-year-olds gonna four-year old.”

In an Instagram post summarizing the weekend’s activities and how much it meant for their family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also gave a little nod to their youngest son’s delightful antics throughout the festivities.

“Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.

We all had an incredible time, especially Louis… 👀”

Many outlets described the young royal’s behavior as a “tantrum,” which, honestly—that’s a bit much, isn’t it? It seems like he’s just being…four. Most adults would find the tedious, endless events of the Jubilee weekend exhausting, so why would we expect an older toddler to be on his best behavior.

Regardless of how you feel about his funny faces and the fact that he was very likely overstimulated from the weekend overall, we can all agree on one thing: it’s Prince Louis’ world, and we’re just living in it.
