As much as I look forward to summer and switching out my wardrobe (so long, bulky sweaters and leggings!), I cannot stand a certain issue that occurs every time I put on a skirt, dress (or God forbid) swimsuit. I’m talking about thigh chafing, of course. There is nothing more uncomfortable than the friction and burning feeling that comes from having your bare thighs rub together, and nothing that quells the excitement of putting on a cute summer dress more than having to walk around awkwardly because you don’t want your thighs touching. Ah, good times.

If any of this sounds familiar, let me say first that I stand in solidarity with you, and I also happen to have a solution. And this is coming from someone who does not consider herself a “product person” (I will squeeze the life out of my drugstore-bought face cream before I’m forced to buy another).

If you are looking forward to running around with your kids this summer in a flowing skirt, or you’re pregnant and can think of nothing but breezy dresses (experienced summer pregnancy twice, I get it!) then you may want to keep reading.

Mamas and mamas-to-be, enter the Megababe Thigh Rescue anti-chafing stick. For $14, this miracle self-care stick is about to make summer activities a whole lot easier. While it may look like deodorant, that’s where the comparison ends. Containing the all natural goodness of aloe, grapeseed oil and antioxidant rich vitamin E in a balm-like formula, Megababe’s non-toxic, anti-friction combination creates a barrier that sits on top of the skin, allowing your thighs to smoothly glide against each other. Never tested on animals, Megababe’s award-winning formula has made it possible for me to not have to think twice about putting on a fun summer dress or hanging out by the pool in a swimsuit, and for that I am truly thankful.

Also, shout out to Megababe’s founder and body positivity influencer, Katie Sturino. I have the utmost respect for women who can create an answer to their own issue and share it with the rest of us, and that’s what she’s done with Thigh Rescue (among other awesome self-care products in the Megababe line).

Pull out those summer dresses, mamas!
