Even as a full-grown adult, wearing a mask hasn't always been the easiest adjustment. For kids, it's even more challenging. It's not the most comfortable accessory, and for some kiddos, it can even seem a little scary. But we know it's important right now, and some doctors even suggest that wearing a mask can help kids feel more in control during a time when everything seems a bit out of control. If we position it as the one thing they can do to help protect others, it almost feels like a superpower.

But like eating vegetables, sleeping through the night, or dressing appropriately for the weather, getting kids to agree to do what's most beneficial isn't always easy. So as mamas, we're always on the lookout for tools that can help our little ones process and understand the world around them.

That's why we're totally smitten with the adorable masked dolls from Bunnies by the Bay.

For one thing, dolls are a great way to help model empathy and teach kids how to care for and respect other people. Incorporating the accessory of 2020 into play makes it seem a little less scary, giving parents a great opportunity to help normalize this new reality.

With their sweet faces, removable outfits and huggable, soft bodies, Daisy, Phoebe and Elsie are just the right gang of friends to do it. They're heirloom-quality and made to be loved for a long, long time—and are certain to come with a lot of stories when handed down to the next generation.
