Since becoming a mom, there is one thing that I have come to learn about the baby gear that we purchase: It is perfectly OK to invest in the best of the best—and sometimes, that means spending good money on good things.

Reason being is, a lot of these items are going to be with us for years—especially if you plan on having more than one child. I don’t want to invest in new cribs, bassinets, strollers or any other essential item every time I have another child. I want to invest in long-lasting items that can be passed down—and then passed on to another mama.

And do you want to know one of the main baby items that I’ve realized is worth investing in? Strollers. We currently own four stroller for my one-year-old. One stays at my parents, and my husband and I keep one in each of our cars. But after adding our Guava stroller to the mix a few months ago, we’ve barely used the others at all.

Hands down, the Guava Family Roam Crossover Stroller is the best stroller I have ever come across. My husband agrees, almost everyone compliments us on it and my son has never opposed to being in it.

The amazing Guava stroller

Why I love the Guava stroller

1. Its compact construction

With how big and sturdy this stroller is (having an overall weight of 28.5 pounds), one would think that it would take up an insane amount of space. But honestly, the Guava Roam Stroller folds 50% smaller than other traditional jogging strollers. And with just one pull of a latch, it folds extremely easily. I’ve had no problem fitting this bad boy in my trunk for trips to the park or store, or in our storage closet right by our front door to whip out for those daily walks.

And with as much as I already have to haul around with a 16 month old, I don’t want anything that is going to take up too much extra space—or time. Luckily, the Guava Roam Stroller doesn’t take up too much of either.

2. Its durability

One thing I truly despise as a parent is a stroller that just. doesn’t. last. Like… c’mon😩. As a parent, I’m sure you’ve likely been there—purchasing strollers that slowly start to tear apart within mere months of getting them. The stroller that’s in my car trunk annoyingly squeaks every single time I push it—and I could not be more annoyed or embarrassed when I’m out running errands. But one thing I can vouch for with the Guava Family Roam Crossover Stroller is that it is indeed long-lasting (and it doesn’t squeak😅).

I know that I can depend on this stroller to stick by my family’s side for years and years to come—whether through the years of our first child or our fifth.

3. So. Many. Features.

I wouldn’t be advocating for this Guava stroller if it was merely subpar. It actually comes with so many features on deck, I’m not sure if I’ve even had the chance to put them all to use yet.

Remote-lock front wheel:

Designed with a mom in mind, this feature is so you can change between walking or jogging. You can control the front wheel swivel from the handlebar. You can also adjust the handlebar to a comfortable position, which is perfect when my husband and I alternate using the stroller.

He usually adjusts the handlebar to the tallest height, which makes it comfortable for him to push. I, on the other hand, like to go on leisure strolls and take in the scenery around me. So because I often walk at a slower pace when using the stroller, I love the fact that I can adjust the handlebar to lean on as I push my son around. It kind of mimics leaning over a buggy while grocery shopping, which is also great for those longer trips to the grocery store.

No-puncture natural rubber tires:

I will absolutely praise the tires on this stroller every chance that I get. Made for even the toughest of the toughest terrain, no matter where my son and I are, it seems like the push of the stroller remains heavenly smooth.

My child doesn’t have to worry about feeling the bumps of the gravel or uneven pavement that we may come across. Out of all the strollers that he’s ridden in, this is the one he’s most likely to fall asleep in. It’s just that comfortable—and honestly, I wish I could be the one to ride in it sometimes 😂

Storage space:

The parent console feature is so convenient for me. It has deep pockets, so I’m able to store my keys, phone, water bottle or snacks here while we’re out—and everything stays secure.

The basket at the bottom of the stroller is convenient for any overflow items such as diaper bags, blankets, books or whatever else you might possibly need. It even has zipper compartments for extra storage space.

The back seat has a mesh pocket for extra storage as well, big enough to fit some books, an umbrella, a small blanket or any other lightweight items.

Canopy:

The canopy is large and does an amazing job at shading and covering my son—especially on those hot or windy days. It also has a mesh visor that gives a littler extra coverage—and works well to keep the bugs out.

The canopy has a mesh peek-a-boo window in the back so that you’re able to look down on your child. This mesh window is also on the back of the seat for when you recline it.

Aesthetically-pleasing design:

I must admit that I’m the type of mama that opts-in for the design of products, and not only does the Guava Roam Stroller have great performance—it’s also great to look at. The material is very plush and also removable and machine washable, which makes it pretty easy to tend to any child-created messes.

The seat reclines, so it’s perfect for if your child wants to take in all the scenery or relax back for a little nap. Though this stroller is recommended for babies six months of age or older, they do sell carseat adapters for certain infant seats.

Overall, the Guava Family Roam Crossover Stroller is by far such an amazing essential—and you’d truly have to see it for yourself to understand. If you’re a parent (or soon to be one), you’ve likely searched or even tried loads of different stroller brands to find one that might be the right fit for you. But hopefully I’ve convinced you that this Guava stroller is a great choice for you and your little one.

I’ve search far and I’ve searched wide, but it’s the Guava Roam Stroller that will surely remain by my side. As they say: “Run miles. Run errands.” Wherever you’re running, the Guava Roam Stroller is sure to be the best fit for you.
