Disney 100 Years of Wonder will be the biggest celebration in the company’s history. This news comes just as the theme park giant announced a shake-up to their ticket prices. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the Disney platinum celebrations are slated to begin January 27. Throughout the year, there will be different ways the resort will commemorate this huge milestone including, new foods, a new exhibit and a new attraction. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Disneyland (@disneyland) Alongside the excitement for platinum celebrations, Disney ticket prices will also be seeing some changes. The new updates are supposed to offer flexibility and more value. Park Hopper ticket holders will now be able to switch between parks at 11am, starting February 4. There will also be more dates to take advantage of the lowest ticketing tier. $104 ticket price days will be scattered throughout 2023, totally almost two months worth. Also starting February 4, candid family photos with your mouths wide open on the rides will be easier than ever to take home. Ticketed guests will have complimentary download privileges for all of their Disney PhotoPass moments. Joining the Magic Key program will also be easier than ever with more sales to be expected throughout the year. Mickey and Minnie will be the stars of a brand-new, ride-through attraction that’s scheduled to open on January 27. Guests will embark on a wacky adventure, courtesy of a train led by Goofy, inside the El CapiTOON Theater in Disneyland park. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a little different than the other theme park’s attractions because there is currently no plan for a stand-by line. Instead, you can join the virtual queue available on the Disneyland app. Artist Concept/Disneyland Resort The World of Color is also getting a makeover. “World of Color – ONE,” is an all-new nighttime light-show extravaganza. This is the dazzling story about the story-making magic that started it all. A new original song will be featured. Plus, this will be the first time that characters and moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, the Avengers and “Star Wars” will all be featured together. Disney 100 will also bring new platinum infused decor to the park as well as new foods. Platinum medallions will be on display throughout the resort. The platinum trifle and the potato and cheddar cheeseburger are amongst the new mouth-watering options being added to the menu. Here is the foodie guide for the complete list of what’s to come. David Nguyen/Disneyland Resort The Disney Gallery at Disneyland Park will feature a new exhibit in honor of the films that became attractions and the theme park experiences that inspired films. Old favorites including Mickey’s Toontown and the “Magic Happens” parade are both expected to make a comeback spring 2023.
