Ventana Big Sur

Located in Big Sur, California, at this glamping site, you can enjoy spectacular views of a 20-acre canyon, hike in the lush forests that fill the area, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. At night, you can light the fire pit and make s’mores. Accommodations are a safari-style canvas tent with a custom-designed plush mattress and luxury linens. Bathrooms are shared, as with a typical outdoor camping experience, but there they put a glamping twist on it with heated floors and teak-enclosed showers. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Club Med Cancún

Club Med Cancún is surrounded by three beaches and the world’s second largest coral reef as well as the ancient Chichen Itza ruins. This particular location offers childcare, a children’s club, unlimited water and land sports, and has a dedicated oceanfront family space with a pool and bar service (mocktails for the little ones!).

Maui, Hawaii

For a cultural immersion with a side of relaxation and a sprinkle of sea turtles, the family-friendly island of Maui can’t be beat. There’s something to do here for the whole family. Want to go snorkeling? Check. Want to experience an authentic luau? Check. Want to learn how to surf? Check. Oh, and you don’t have to stay on one island the whole time either. Book a hopper plane and enjoy island-life a littler longer on Oahu’s famous Waikiki Beach.
