Maura Shirey is a Registered Nurse and Certified Pregnancy Fitness Educator. She is the Creator of Bodies for Birth, a Seattle based company specializing in pregnancy and postpartum fitness services. After being disappointed at the lack of specialized options for pre and postnatal fitness, she set out to fill a need in the community. With her nursing background at the foundation of her work, Maura has created methodical and progressive programming for the perinatal time. All Bodies for Birth programs take a holistic and intentional approach utilizing evidence based research with an emphasis on mind-body preparation.
