I hope that my weakness teaches you something. I hope that when you come upon your own brokenness, tiredness, fear and confusion, that you will be okay with it. I pray that your imperfections won't scare you as they have me. I pray that you won't run from them, but that you'll wrestle with them and you will keep showing up, saying sorry, and trying again.
Everything from the pattern of our wedding china to the curtains in my daughter's nursery felt like a reflection of our family and myself as a wife and mother.
But there’s so much beauty in that weakness.
There are several people who are hard to replace: a sensitive OB/GYN, a quality hairstylist, and a loyal friend.
From multitasking to superhuman speed to making babies and feeding said babies with our bodies—we are powerful mamas.
