Courtney Bolton, Ph.D.

Courtney Bolton, Ph.D. is the Chief Clinical Officer at Weldon, a platform that connects parents to a fast growing community of child development experts, who provide tailored, research-backed parenting advice to advance their mission of helping parents raise great kids. In addition to being a mom of four, she holds her Ph.D. in counseling, clinical and school psychology from the University of California-Santa Barbara and her BA in psychology from Vanderbilt University. She previously held an appointment as a postdoctoral scholar and clinical instructor at UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior before starting a private practice focused on working with parents. Her research on resilience, school readiness, and discipline has been published in peer reviewed journals and books, and she often speaks about making and keeping friends in the digital era.
