How would you describe your pregnant style?
This time around, I am trying to keep my style but go cheaper and comfy! And with a 2 year old at home, anything that I buy needs to be able to go through the wash! Though I can wear most of my the maternity clothes that I got during my first pregnancy, I’ll have to get winter essentials because I only needed to dress my bump during the warmer months the first time around. I also cheat a lot with my shoes, trying to make them cool so that everything else looks better. Finally, I like to spend money on one pair of good maternity jeans to make me feel good about myself!

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during this pregnancy?
I still had an extra 8 pounds from my last pregnancy, so some of my old clothes were a bit tight or got too tight a lot faster. I also have to travel a lot and meet with partners, which means that i have to wear nice clothes. But my legs and feet are killing me, so I’ve been trying to dress up my dresses with cool sneakers and flats is a must! Overall, I feel more frumpy this time around, but I don’t want to keep buying more clothes knowing that this is my last pregnancy.

What’s one item of clothing you purchased during pregnancy that you know will get tons of use after baby arrives?
I actually bought some nursing bras and camis from Bravado Designs during pregnancy rather than waiting until I’m actually breastfeeding. They feel so supportive and comfortable for my bump now, and I know I’ll be wearing them every day after the baby arrives. They make life so much easier!

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?
My legs are always tired and restless, and the ligaments in my bottom half are stretching. The pain when I move while sitting or lying down is insane! It makes doing anything a lot harder, so I find myself dressing in a way that makes things more comfortable!

What’s your top 5 registry essentials?
1. Milk Makers Cookie mix. I needed help making milk the last time around, so I will have these waiting!
2. Noggin Stick. This is my go-to present for every new baby because it was a lifesaver for my daughter. Once, it got three kids under four months to stop crying!
3. Rock N Play. I had a hand-me-down for my firstborn, but I plan on getting the one that rocks on its own!!
4. Love to Dream Swaddle. I was HORRIBLE at swaddling, and she was a Hoodini — always trying to escape. I was so afraid she was going to suffocate, so we moved to Love to Dream, and it was bliss! She loved having her arms up!
5. Uppababy Vista with roller board and extra seat. Time to move on up to a double stroller. I’m hoping the roller board will help with a toddler who always fights the stroller.
Bonus: the best sound machine ever!! The Marpac sound machine is worth the extra $
