Anne Hathaway is pregnant with her second baby, the actress revealed on Instagram Wednesday. And as she has done with both her movie roles, on social media, and in interviews, she turned her announcement into a message of solidarity with other women.

“It’s not for a movie…⁣⁣ #2,” Hathaway captioned a black-and-white mirror selfie showing off her bump in a white tank top.

While she’s smiling in the picture and seems clearly happy with the news, she also hinted that this picture doesn’t tell the whole story.

“All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies,” Hathaway wrote. “Sending you extra love.”

If the Ocean’s 8 star was struggling with infertility, we can imagine how uncomfortable it would have been to face the millions of “When are you going to have another?” questions everyone asks women after their first child. Having children already makes women feel as if their body belongs to someone else—both the baby sharing your space and every single nosy person you encounter—and this must be compounded for celebrity moms. (How many diamond Cartier necklaces you want to bet her husband Adam Shulman didn’t have to answer that question?)

Still, considering the relentlessness of paparazzi, it’s pretty impressive that Hathaway has managed to reveal both of her pregnancies, relatively late in the game without the media playing, “Is that a baby bump?” Hathaway and Shulman welcomed son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman in March 2016, just two months after she first showed off her fuller form in a bikini to announce she was expecting.

Since Jonathan was born, the actress has been working steadily, but opened up about how difficult it is to be “present” for her son when she’s filming a movie.

“It’s hard when you play characters that are isolated … because I’d be holding [Jonathan], but I felt like I wasn’t really giving it to him,” Hathaway told People, but she added, “I’m not big on mommy guilt. I just don’t really do it unless I really, really, really, really, really need to.”

We all lead very different lives than the Oscar winner does, but that seems like advice we can all heed.
