Earlier this year, Ashley Graham gave birth to her second and third sons, respectively. And now, a few months into being a mama of a toddler and infant twins, Graham is sharing a gorgeous selfie of her postpartum body.
Over the weekend, mama of twin boys Malachi and Roman and big brother Isaac, posted three pictures celebrating her "new" body to social media. In the first photo, Graham poses in her underwear in a gorgeous mirror selfie.
"Hi, new tummy," she captioned the photo. "We've been through a lot. Thank you. #3monthspostpartum."
Graham shares a close-up of her tummy in the second image—clearly feeling proud of it, as we all deserve to feel of our own tummies.
Before giving birth to her twins, Graham opened up about how "bounce back" culture affected her relationship with her body the first time around.
"I learned that the hard way when I tried to control everything when I was pregnant with Isaac and I told myself that I was going to bounce right back because I was breastfeeding and everybody told me, 'Oh, if you breastfeed you're going to lose all the weight,'" Graham told PEOPLE last fall.
"And I had a few honest women tell me you will never feel the same. So they were just blunt with me and sure enough, I haven't felt the same. It's so hard acknowledging and accepting the loss of control of your body when you're pregnant.
The journey to loving your post-baby body is a difficult one for so many mamas. It surely helps seeing someone with a huge platform (and a mama we all love to love) sharing her own journey and embracing her "new tummy" like Ashley Graham does. She's beautiful always!
